The locations of the paintings are indicated on the following two maps of Flatford Mill, Dedham and East Bergholt. Paintings 26-39 were all made around St Mary's Church, East Bergholt.

A number of Constable's paintings of Dedham Vale, such as the one shown below, were produced from the vicinity of the church of St Mary's Langham and Langham Hall (please see the map below). This view is now obscured by trees.
